A Centre For Physiotherapy : Project started to develop a modern physiotherapy center for the people in need

INTRODUCTION

Sabuj Sangha was established in the year 1953. It has been 60 years that we have traversed and cruised through multifarious activities namely sports, cultural activities and social welfare etc.

Our Endeavour to commence on the odyssey was achieved primarily owing to sports activities chiefly Football, Cricket and Badminton. Plethora of budding talents has surfaced from our club and has secured lives as football or Cricket players in Kolkata. The severe loss of the only playground in our possession proved detrimental to our winged progress. So from 1999 onwards we had to assort our ideas and engage ourselves in indoor games ie Table tennis. Since 1999 we are involved in cultivating potential budding talents in Table Tennis Arena. Many players from our club have represented state level as well as National level championships, apart from that one Dance school, Drawing school, Adult education centre and two wing of Anganwari School are being operated by our club.

Our club pertaining to social activities is very active as we zealously took part in devastating flood situation in whole of West Bengal inl978, we also associated in the cyclone devastated areas of ORISSA in 1999, flood affected MALDA in 1985 and in the catastrophic aftermath of Ayla affecting areas of Sunderban in 2009. This is not all, our resume is far for ending as our organization is also involved in social charity activities such as Blood donation, Health camp, Posthumous Eye donation and Body donation, Anti dengue operation etc.

Now our organization has decided to embark upon a charitable physiotherapy centre for economically backward people in and around our locality on regular basis with the help of renowned doctors.

OUR APPEAL

The above said therapy center inaugurated on and from January 2014. Since couple of year we are organizing Distribution of Clothes, Blankets, Education support to poor students (Apart from the stated above) etc in our locality, These honorable activities as captioned above, inspired young generation to make them involved directly to serve better for the needy people in the society. Hence we believe, a good humanity like you will not be hesitant to participate yourself by contributing the maximum possible in order to perform above activities successfully. Your patronages always help us to establish our slogan and achieve the mission.
